DIY PENCIL HOLDER

Materials:
- Newspapers
- A pair of scissors
- Glue
- cardboard
- Any empty bottle for base
Procedures:
1. cut a two-page
newspaper in half
2. cut the
newspaper into 4 strips (lengthwise/horizontally). The strips should
be of the same size or width.
3. after cutting
the newspaper into strips, take three strips of paper and start
braiding or intertwining them until you complete the needed length of
braid.
4. use any bottle
you desire to use as your temporary base for your pencil holder. wrap
the bottle with a newspaper.
5. wrap the
bottle with the braided newspaper strips. Secure it tightly with a
glue.
6. after wrapping
the braided newspaper up to you desired height of your pencil holder
make sure to glue the ends properly so it will not be loose.
7. slowly remove
the bottle.
8. for the base,
use any hard material or a cardboard. Measure the bottom of your
pencil holder and cut.
9. connect the
cardboard to the bottom of your pencil holder using a glue
10. after
completing the base you can now add more finishing touches (designs,
paints, etc.) to beautify your pencil holder.
