DIY PHONE HOLDER

BY: ANTONETTE UYAAN

MATERIALS:
  1. Sewing Kit- Scissors, sewing pins, thread, needle, tailor’s chalk (Crayola colors can be an alternative), ruler
  2. Any extra cloth
  3. Measuring Tape or any measuring device
  4. Adhesive fastening Tape

Procedure:
  1. Prepare all the materials needed.
  2. Measure the circumference of your arm (set an allowance of two fingers when measuring).
  3. Measure the length of your phone and set an allowance of 1 inch.
  4. Cut two pieces of clothing with a length of your arm’s circumference (plus two fingers allowance) and a width of your phone’s length (plus 1 inch allowance).
  5. Sew the pieces of cloth together. (I used the overcast stitch because it looks more neat for me.)
  6. Measure your phone’s length and width and cut two pieces of cloth with its measurement. Remember to add some allowance that will be used in sewing the sides. These pieces of cloth that you will sew together will serve as the pocket for your phone.
  7. Attach the pocket to the cloth you sew together in number 5.
  8. Attach the adhesive fastening tapes to the edges of the piece of cloth.
  9. Try it on and do necessary adjustments if there are any. You may decorate it with embroideries if you wish to.
