DIY WATER MARBLE MUG
BY: CHARIZA PAULINE BERBER
MATERIALS NEEDED:
-
CERAMIC MUG
-
NAIL POLISH
-
A LARGE CONTAINER OR BASIN
-
TOOTH PICK
-
WARM WATER
-
NAIL POLISH REMOVER AND COTTON (optional)
PROCEDURE:
-
Fill the basin with warm water. Make sure that the basin is deep enough to fit the mug.
-
Pour nail polish onto the surface of the water. Make sure the water is warm so that the nail polish will spread evenly.
-
Using the toothpick, swirl the nail polish to spread the nail polish to cover most of the water which also create the marble effect.
-
Quickly dip the mug into the water because the nail polish on the water dries quickly. Make sure to avoid putting nail polish where the mouth of the mug goes.
-
Let the mug stay on the basin for a few seconds. Take the mug out of the basin and turn over the mug to the dry the nail polish.
-
Once the nail polish is dry, clean out the bottom of the mug and areas where you don’t want any nail polish on using a nail polish remover.
